About 'Understanding Food Additives'
'Understanding Food Additives' was produced through collaboration between the Food Additives and Ingredients Association and the Chemical Industry Education Centre. The aim of the site is to provide accurate information about the uses and effects of food additives, and to support the teaching of this topic in schools by the provision of freely available classroom resources.
The site was launched in 2005 and continues to be actively updated.
